We were delighted to have the chance to sponsor and supply playing kit and leisurewear to the HGB Legends as they competed in the Invitational International Vets 10s at Dubai Rugby 7s.
HGB Legends are a team made up of stars from all over the world including some big names like Welsh International and British & Irish Lion Mike Phillips, Ex Welsh fly-half Ceri Sweeny and a management team of Welsh international and regional legends Chris Wyatt & Gareth Bowen, former Italian scrum-half Paul Griffin and ex Scarlets Hooker Craig Hawkins. They play in international Vets tournaments around the globe raising awareness and supporting the Matthew J Watkins Tribute Fund.
After a strong start to the tournament, HGB Legends went unbeaten and won against teams packed with international stars, to be crowned champions of the Emirates Dubai 7s Invitational International Vets 10s tournament, a great achievement for a team only formed in 2021.
